“Granny” Apple Tea

The apple tea has a slight sweetness from the Granny Smith apple and dried figs. It can be served hot or cold at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and even with cookies and cakes, too!

  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • 2 dried figs
  • 4 dried dates
  • 1 Litre of water


  1. Peel the Granny Smith apple.
  2. Put 1 litre of water in a kettle or pot.
  3. Add the peeled apple and 2 dried figs into the water.
  4. Put the kettle/pot on the stove and boil on medium heat for 15 minutes.
